SAMPLE 1/1

Hello everyone,

Today, I want to talk about a very meaningful topic: “Is democracy good for a country?”

In my opinion, democracy is very good for a country like India. It gives people the power to choose their leaders, speak freely, and live with dignity. It is a system where every voice matters — whether rich or poor, man or woman, educated or uneducated.

India is the largest democracy in the world. Every five years, we get the chance to vote and elect our leaders. This is a right and a responsibility. Through voting, we help shape the future of our country. In a democracy, leaders are not chosen by force but by choice.

In our villages and cities, we can see how democracy works at different levels — from Panchayats to Parliament. People can speak up, protest, ask questions, and suggest ideas. This freedom is not possible in every system.

Yes, democracy has its problems — like corruption or slow decisions — but it also gives us the tools to fix those problems. We can use our vote, our voice, and our rights to demand better governance.

Our festivals, our freedom, our Constitution — all are protected because of democracy. Leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, and many others dreamed of a free and democratic India. Today, we are living that dream.

In schools, in elections, in courts — democracy teaches us to listen, to respect, and to participate. It’s not perfect, but it’s powerful.

So I strongly believe: Yes, democracy is good for a country. Especially for a diverse country like India, it is the best way forward.

Thank you!
