SAMPLE 1/1
Today, I want to talk about whether it is okay to lie sometimes.
In my opinion, it is always better to tell the truth. Lying might help us avoid trouble for a short time, but it can hurt others and break their trust.
Sometimes, people lie because they are scared or don’t want to make someone sad. For example, we might say we finished our homework when we didn’t, or we might say someone’s drawing looks good even if we don’t mean it. But even small lies can grow into big problems.
I think telling the truth shows courage and honesty. If we make a mistake, it’s okay — we should admit it and say sorry. That makes us better people.
Being honest helps us build good friendships and makes others trust us. I try my best to speak the truth, even when it is hard.
So, is it okay to lie? I think it’s better to be honest and kind. That way, we can always feel proud of what we say and do.
Thank you! ”
