Hello everyone,

Today, I am going to talk about a very serious and interesting topic: “Is it right to kill wild animals that enter villages?”

We all know that wild animals like elephants, leopards, wild boars, and monkeys sometimes come into human living areas like villages and towns. This can be very dangerous. People get scared, crops are destroyed, and sometimes even lives are lost. In fear or anger, people sometimes attack or even kill these animals to protect themselves and their families.

But is killing the right solution? I don’t think so.

First, we must understand why animals are coming into human areas. It’s not because they want to harm us. It’s mostly because they are hungry, thirsty, or have lost their homes. When forests are cut down for farming, buildings, and roads, animals lose their natural habitat. They can’t find food and water easily. So they follow smells, sounds, or lights and end up in our villages.

In that way, humans are also responsible. We are the ones cutting down trees and destroying their forests. Then, when animals enter our land, we say they are dangerous and kill them. That doesn’t seem fair, does it?

Instead of killing animals, we must find peaceful solutions. We can build fences or trenches to stop animals from entering farms. We can keep garbage covered so that animals don’t come looking for food. We can create special teams to safely rescue animals and take them back to the forest. In some places, wildlife rescue groups already do this. They use cages, tranquilizers, and experts to protect both people and animals.

Also, we should teach people to stay calm and alert when wild animals are seen. We must avoid crowding around or throwing stones. Informing forest officials is the best thing to do.

Killing wild animals can cause more problems. Every animal is part of nature. If we keep killing them, the balance of nature will break. For example, if there are no leopards, the number of deer or wild boars may increase too much, and that can affect farming too.

So, my answer is no—it is not right to kill wild animals just because they enter villages. They don’t belong in our towns, and we don’t belong in their forests. If we protect nature, we can avoid this problem. Coexistence is the key. Let’s be kind, smart, and responsible.

Thank you!
