I would like to share my opinion on the topic: “Which is better: Government Schools or Private Schools?”
I strongly believe that Government Schools play a vital role in building an educated society, especially in a country like India. They offer education to millions of students who may not be able to afford expensive private institutions.
One of the biggest advantages is that government schools are affordable or even free. This means even children from rural or low-income families can study and dream of a better future. In fact, many successful people in India — including scientists, IAS officers, and doctors — are proud products of government schools.
The teachers in government schools are often highly qualified and selected through competitive exams. Also, with the introduction of mid-day meals, free textbooks, and scholarships, students are encouraged to attend regularly and focus on their studies.
I have a cousin who studied in a government school. Thanks to dedicated teachers and state support, she passed her board exams with flying colors and is now pursuing engineering. She never felt any less than students from private schools.
In conclusion, while private schools may have better facilities, government schools offer equal opportunities for all, and that is the true meaning of education — reaching everyone, not just the privileged.

In my opinion, Private Schools are better for several reasons. First of all, they usually have better infrastructure — clean classrooms, computer labs, smart boards, libraries, and playgrounds. These things create a more comfortable and modern learning environment.
Private schools also maintain smaller class sizes, which allows teachers to give more personal attention to each student. This can really help students who struggle to keep up or need extra support.
In my own experience, my nephew was not doing well in a government school. He was bright, but the large class size and lack of motivation made it hard for him to progress. After switching to a private school, he started showing interest, scoring higher marks, and participating in extracurricular activities.

Yes, private schools are more expensive, but many of them offer scholarships or financial help to deserving students. So, it’s not always out of reach.
