SAMPLE 1: I Don’t Believe in Ghosts
Hello everyone!I want to say clearly that I don’t believe in ghosts. I think all ghost stories are just superstitions or made-up to scare people. In today’s world, we have science to explain everything.
Many times people say they saw a ghost in the dark or in an old house. But most of the time it is just shadows, animals, or our own fear. Our brain plays tricks when we are scared. Science says there is no real proof of ghosts.
In Kerala, there are many ghost stories — like the Yakshi on the palm tree or the woman in white saree near the temple. But these are just old tales told by grandmothers to keep children inside at night.
Once my friend said he saw something at night near the banyan tree. But later we found out it was just a hanging cloth blown by the wind!
I believe we should not fear what we don’t understand. Let us ask questions and learn with science. Fear comes from not knowing the truth.
So no, I don’t believe in ghosts. I believe in facts, science, and clear thinking.
Thank you! ”
SAMPLE 2: I Think Ghosts Might Be Real
Hello friends!I believe that ghosts might be real. There are many strange things that happen around us that we cannot explain. Even in Kerala, there are so many stories from old times that make us think.
My grandmother told me about a woman who used to walk near the temple pond in white clothes every night. No one dared to go there after dark. Even my uncle said he once heard crying sounds near a well in our village where someone had died long ago.
Many people say they have seen shadows or heard footsteps when no one was around. I think all of them cannot be wrong. Maybe ghosts are not always bad — maybe they are just spirits who cannot rest.
In Kerala, people used to do poojas and rituals to remove evil spirits. They still believe in things like Yakshis and Chathan. Old houses, especially tharavads, often have such stories.
I’m not saying we should be afraid of everything. But I feel we should respect what we don’t understand. Some things are beyond science. Until we know for sure, I believe ghosts could be real.
Thank you! ”
